Thane Belapur Industries Association (TBIA)

TBIA was established to encourage and promote Industrial activity and harmonious relations amongst the Members to achieve common cause. It is a premiere representative organisation of Industries located in Thane Belapur Industrial Belt. This Industrial Belt came into existence as a planned Industrial Estate. The Objective was to achieve decongestion, of Population and Industry from Greater Bombay. The siting criteria was based on the directives of State and Central Govt. regarding Industrial Growth and Expansion including the Environmental aspects.

Today, more than 3000 industries are located in TTC area. The cross section of industries range from Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Textile, Textile Processing, Engineering, Food Processing, Electronics, Information Technology, Cold Storage, Millennium Parks and various Allied Industries.

Some of the Nation's prestigious units like NOCIL, Standard Alkali, Herdillia Chemicals Ltd., Mukand Ltd., Siemens, Pfizer, Novartis, Philips, BASF (I) Ltd., L & T, Bharat Bijlee, Global Telesystems, RPG Life Sciences, Millennium Park and hundreds of medium and small units are Members of TBIA.
